ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Clinical Psychologists oversee and deliver behavioral health assessments following DoD and IC regulations to inform deployment and special assignment recommendations to civilian employees for suitability for special assignments and determinations and conditions of employment. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical health providers and medical advisors to contribute comprehensive guidance and furnish expert consultation on the agency's employee medical process. They lead efforts to design, develop and implement tailored employee behavioral wellness programs agency-wide. They communicate, educate, and engage the workforce on resiliency programs enhancing employee health and well-being. They deliver metrics on agency behavioral health services data. They serve as lead agency behavioral health representatives, subject matter experts and technical monitors for agency psychological/mental health services.PROMOTION OPPORTUNITY: Promotion opportunities allow applicants at all band levels to be considered. NGA will emphasize quality of experience, rather than duration, and assess how the quality of the experience demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance in the NGA occupational structure.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: They provide trainings, briefings and workshops, conduct research and surveys, and participate in internal and external working groups and taskforces. This position serves as a Clinical Psychologist for Medical Services in the Office of Health Services (SIH) of the Security and Installations Directorate (SI). The Clinical Psychologist provides behavioral health assessments for civilian employees scheduled to deploy and employees in work roles that require periodic psychological assessments as a condition of employment. The psychologist will also collaborate with other offices to develop and implement a civilian resiliency program that aligns with the current NGA holistic Wellness Program. Incumbent must be detailed-oriented, compassionate, and an innovative professional to serve as a Clinical Psychologist. The incumbent must be capable of handling multiple tasks while working independently. The selectee will oversee the delivery of behavioral health assessments that are a part of a comprehensive medical process for civilian employees. The incumbent will conduct pre- and post-deployment assessments for civilian employees and provide recommendations based on DoD and IC guidance; implement medical services processes and procedures relating to reporting on fitness to serve; refer to the Employee Assistance Program providers with follow-up counseling as needed. If the service agreement is terminated before its completion, the employee may be required to repay a pro rata share amount of the incentive to the government. Qualifications

MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Demonstrated experience working with a wide variety of mental health diagnoses, treatment plans, or complex issues.2. Demonstrated the ability to identify, develop, or prioritize tasks.3. Demonstrated the ability to communicate or educate others about mental health.4. Demonstrated strong oral or written communication skills.5. Demonstrated experience performing neuropsychological testing and the ability to interpret/analyze scores.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D. or Ed.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling or School Psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and must have completed an APA-accredited Doctoral Internship Program. -AND-LICENSES: Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States (e.g., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia. �DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Ability to continuously look for ways to improve results, show resourcefulness, or drive for excellence2. Experience in collaborating with a team to deliver holistic (physical and behavioral) assessments.3. Demonstrated experience working with deployed military service personnel or civilians.4. Demonstrated the ability to assess patients or identify potential mental health issues.
