Duties

Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to: Serves as the Liaison Officer to an outside agency or major military command. Provides assessment of and presents actual or predicted impacts of natural, cyber, or other manmade events on critical infrastructure. Sole representative of the agency and engages with key leadership and staff for coordination of response and to provide subject matter expertise in areas concerning critical infrastructure. Explains CISA's mission, policies, authorities, organization, products, services, and incident response to Department of Defense military, civilian, and contractor personnel, to include general officers and senior executive service members.

To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying. You qualify for the GS-15 grade level, if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties: Obtaining positive outcomes in strategic and operational planning, analysis, policy, and interagency collaboration across and between various governments and the private sector; Providing expertise in critical infrastructure cybersecurity and physical security concepts, threat intelligence, and incident response; and Conveying complex analysis and technical information clearly and succinctly to various stakeholders both verbally and composed. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
