About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Directorate of Resource Management, Logistics Equpment Management, Honolulu Hawaii.

Duties

Serves as Supply Management Specialist in the Logistics Division working under the supervision of the Equipment Management Branch, Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC). Incumbent is responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating equipment management programs. Reviews program equipment requests, coordinates with appropriate offices on requests, including actions requiring approval by higher headquarters. Reviews and provides input on local policies and procedures pertaining to Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), and Common Table of Allowances (CTA) submission as needed. Reports on program requirements, disposition of outstanding requests, recommendations to improve operations, etc. Checks that CEEP funds are executed during the budget year and command obligation goals are met.

Requirements

• One year probationary period is required.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position may require TDY 5% of the time.
• Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
