About the Position: Serves as Center Comptroller and Chief of Resource Management Office, responsible for the development, administration, analysis and evaluation of a financial management services program for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC).

Duties

As Chief of Resource Management Office of the CEHNC advises operating elements and officials in the utilization of accounting methods and procedures to facilitate fiscal activities involving receipt and disbursement of funds. Coordinate an integrated system of financial staff services (cost and financial accounting, examination and funds disbursing) to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and plans established by higher echelons. Assist managers, HQ USACE, and other USACE organizations by collaborating in the formulation, preparation, and execution of civil and military budgets. Provide staff direction and advisory service in pertinent management engineering, organization, methods and procedures, performance analysis, work simplification, and general management improvement,. Maintain liaison on a Corps-wide basis with other USACE Divisions, Districts. to clarify procedures and justify policies pertinent to special accounts and reimbursable activities. Exercise administrative and technical supervision over a workforce composed of professional, technical, and clerical employees.
