The Office of Protective Services, Personnel Security Division is seeking a dynamic individual to identify, develop, plan, and timely execute milestones related to implementing Trusted Workforce 2.0 for the Agency. You will ensure NASA is compliant with processing metrics, required trainings, and managing accesses to required personnel security databases. You will also prepare/deliver presentations, briefings, training sessions, and foster relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Duties
Lead the identification, development, planning, and execution of the Agency's Trusted Workforce 2.0 initiatives, ensuring alignment with
federal standards and agency goals.
Recommend policy and procedure relating to all aspects of personnel vetting under Trusted Workforce 2.0. Prepare and deliver briefings to
senior officials on vetting processes and Trusted Workforce 2.0 implementation.
Develop metrics to measure program effectiveness and communicate progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Work with subject-matter experts to obtain and interpret data and decide the most effective manner to communicate findings and results.
Design, develop, implement, and assess training programs for new employees, along with refresher courses for current staff. Regularly deliver
educational sessions covering all aspects of the Personnel Security Program.
Analyze, interpret, and present data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions, focusing on
key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and track progress across the division.
Reviews and updates training materials and best practice documents to align with evolving policies/processes. Ensures compliance with legal
and mandatory requirements, as well overarching personnel security policies and agency regulations.
Develop, deliver, and conduct training for all personnel security databases and systems. Act as the division account manager for all required
personnel security systems, ensuring appropriate access is granted, maintained, and revoked as needed.

Requirements
- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
Recommending policy and procedures and translating legal and policy requirements into operational guidance;
Supporting the implementation of initiatives to integrate new policies, technologies, or processes into existing systems;
Ensuring the proper initiation, efficient processing, and accurate adjudication of background investigations.
