You will serve as a Financial Technician in the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.
Duties
You will serve as the financial point of contact for graduate medical education travel operations.
You will maintain accurate travel information in a variety of electronic databases.
You will balance and reconcile travel claims and make adjustments or corrections as necessary.
You will ensure all travel accounts remain solvent and keep management appraised of issues as soon as they are discovered.
You will compute mileage cost estimates and cost comparisons using the military rate solicitation guidance and policies.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1) Maintaining accurate travel information in a variety of electronic databases; 2) Entering financial data into electronic database systems and monitoring requisitions; 3) Balancing and reconciling accounts, making adjustments or corrections as necessary; and 4) Establishing and maintaining expenditure spreadsheets, program purchase receipts, and various other related correspondences.
