You will serve as the Supply Operations/General Equipment Branch Head within the Property Management Division of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION.

Duties

You will function as the Supply Operations/General Equipment Branch Head providing management, oversight and day to day operational direction for the branches. You will directly supervise employees and provide day-to-day operational direction in addition to overseeing their professional development and growth. You will oversee multiple programs related to supplies, supply/inventory management, warehousing operations, logistic programs, and property/equipment programs to continuously evaluate and improve their processes. You will provide metrics and analysis to the Property Management Division Head to support continuous process improvement. You will work closely with the Operating Materials and Supply (OMS) Lead to execute policies to ensure physical and financial compliance with all policies, regulations and directives for materials and processes controlled by the branch. You will serve as an active member of the NAVSEA HQ Property Management IPT. You will determine and communicate performance expectations to branch personnel, evaluate branch personnel’s performance throughout the year, and resolve work related problems. You will implement EEO principles and objectives to ensure employees are treated in a fair and equitable manner. You will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for a wide range of meetings, briefings, presentations, reports and data calls on organizational capabilities, new initiatives and on-going technical work. You will represent the command at meetings, telecons, program and technical reviews, and other high-level meetings. You will provide executive level briefings on new and upcoming purchasing initiatives promulgated from NAVSEA/NAVSUP Headquarters.

Qualifications

FOR NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience analyzing inventory management operations (e.g. planning, provisioning, distribution) to resolve issues ensuring material management or accountability related to inventory operations, warehouse management, or material handling/disposal.
