You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.

Duties
You will advise internal and external customers on agency administrative policies and procedures.
You will prepare formal correspondence for approval by senior leaders.
You will draft responses to requests for administrative services.
You will review personnel action submissions for completeness and accuracy.
You will use a tracking system (e.g., Action Tracking System [ATS] or similar system) to monitor incoming and outgoing taskers.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing NAVFAC missions, policies, procedures, and processes while understanding Navy Public Works Department organization and day-to-day tasks; 2) Ability to clearly and effectively distribute information to base tenants and departments, and skill at compiling feedback from them; 3) Understanding of hiring, classification, benefits, labor relations, negotiation, and federal, state, and local employment regulations and; 4) Utilizing and working in Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), USA Staffing, USA Jobs, Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS, myBiz).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
or
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
or
Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
or
Possess a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
