This vacancy is for a GS-1801-13, Criminal Investigation Review Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, CGIS ASSISTANT DIRECTOR ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will serve as a/an Criminal Investigation Review Specialist and be responsible for highly sensitive criminal investigations and operations conducted by various CGIS offices to determine if proper investigative requirements and techniques have been utilized..
Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-13 level you must have completed at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Specialized experience must include the following:
Conducting inquiries into possible violations of laws, rules, regulations, mismanagement, fraud, gross waste of funds;
Developing and implementing investigative plans for complex investigations and projects;
Making recommendations to management/senior leaders regarding actions they should take to address violations of law, regulations, and other serious problems, abuses, or deficiencies;
Identifying resources required for each investigation, including taskings to assist other investigative agencies.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
NOTE: Education Cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
