About the Position: Serves as a Security Specialist (Insider Threat/Mission Assurance) with the US Army Combat Capabilities, DEV CMD HQ - DEVCOM Operations/G-3 Operational Protection.

Duties
Develop and recommend Mission Assurance (MA) policies, programs, and procedures.
Review and provide feedback to HQDA and joint staff on Mission Assurance (MA) policy, directives, and instructions; identifies data required to meet program information requirements; authors MA publications and articles.
Serve as a recognized subject matter expert on multi-disciplinary threat management.
Participate in, or coordinate, teams and projects concerned with the collection, review, interpretation, correlation, and report of employee related data that may be indicators of a potential insider threat.
Provide expert staff advice, interpretation, and assistance on issues related to Insider Threat (InT) monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
Assist in the development and implementation of an integrated protection program consisting of Physical Security, Mission Assurance, Insider Threat, Antiterrorism, Operational Security, and Force Protection.
Represent the organization at formal conferences, panels, and meetings related to assigned program areas; provides advice, guidance, and direction to other security specialists on policy interpretation and application.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret - Special Sensitive (High Risk) security clearance Sensitive Compartmented Information or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test screening and random drug testing after that.
- Position requires incumbent to obtain Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within 24 months of entrance on duty (EOD).
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- Term employment is subject to a one year trial period.
