You will serve as an all-source senior counter narcotics intelligence analyst responsible for monitoring preparation of studies, reports, and tailored briefings for the Watch and senior audiences. You will provide comprehensive complex responses to requests for information and tasks levied via own organization or other intelligence organizations. This position is located at KENNEDY IRREGULAR WARFARE CENTER in Suitland, Maryland.
Duties
You will manage comprehensive strategic and tactical responses to requests for information, priorities, and tasks levied via US law enforcement agencies and other Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Intelligence Community (IC) elements.
You will manage the production of written intelligence analytic products.
You will prepare and give oral briefings identifying how drug trafficking and transnational criminal organization leverage the maritime domain to conduct illicit activity.
You will be responsible for maintaining organizational analytic standards within divisional analytic production, editing products prepublication, and ensuring analytic integrity and fidelity.
You will plan and coordinate intelligence activities, resolves conflicts, and interprets existing policy to make technical or operational decisions necessary to process all-source materials and produce innovative analyses in your assigned area(s).
You will apply new theories, developments or procedures to intelligence problems not solved by application of standard guidelines and policies.
You will lead the development and acquisition of technical illicit network information analysis methods, strategies, and capabilities to support operations within or outside the continental United States (CONUS/OCONUS) to meet agency requirements.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a two-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- Position may be subject to assignment to provide foreign language support in performance of officially assigned intelligence-related duties in accordance with NAVINTEL HRO Instruction 12550.2, FLPP for Naval Intelligence Civilian Employees.
- Level two or higher proficiency must be certified every 12 months in the approved language(s) for at least two of the following skills: listening, reading, speaking, or writing.
- Travel may be required, including in performance of language duties.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and command representative at high level interagency policy boards, chairs working groups and subcommittees, and participate in intensive interagency coordination efforts related to mitigating threats to U.S. national security and global maritime security;
Review emerging technologies, trends, analytical tools, and methodologies and apply them towards solving specialized intelligence questions for non-traditional customers including federal law enforcement, Regulatory Agencies, foreign military, and law enforcement agencies;
Synthesize intelligence research and analysis into oral briefings, written reports, and other products that reflect relevant requirements of the national drug control policy community and Regulatory Agencies.
