Serves as Supervisory Traffic Management Coordinator in a terminal or en route facility, responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective traffic management is maintained.

Duties

Provides first line supervision to a staff of Traffic Management Coordinators. Ensures that traffic instructions/restrictions are initiated in accordance with established procedures to maintain a safe and expeditious flow of traffic and minimize the impact of heavy flight demands. The work impacts the effectiveness and efficiency of the day-to day operations of the facility.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
• Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
• A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
• Some, all, or none of the candidates may be interviewed.

Qualifications

Candidates must show specialized experience which is defined as:1) Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks); OR2) Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility; OR3) Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facilityQUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET BY THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
