This position is part of the Office of Natural Resources Revenue, Finance Enforce, Valuation & Reporting (FEVR), Enforcement & Financial Compliance, Financial Compliance Team. You must be able to report to one of the advertised duty stations. 1 position will be filled in 1 of the following locations:

Duties
Direct employees in work related to financial compliance, including demands against sureties, Treasury referrals, appeal sureties, working with surface management agencies on bond termination requests, resolving bankruptcy issues.
Direct and oversee the timely preparation of quality bankruptcy proof of claim forms and then works with counsel to support claims in complex bankruptcy proceedings.
Manage ONRR's Debt Collection group.
Make decisions regarding the implementation, amendment, or interpretation of financial compliance procedures, practices, and strategies.
Conduct briefings to upper management when requested.
Diplomatically and competently communicates and coordinates with stakeholders to support financial compliance objectives.
Qualifications
At the GS-14 level, you must meet the following qualification:
One year of specialized experience that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience includes: 1) Supporting financial compliance efforts by preparing and processing financial compliance documents to meet mineral revenue law requirements; (2) Supporting bankruptcy litigation by collecting claim information, analyzing the information, filing proof of claims forms in bankruptcy proceedings, and supporting such claims in litigation in consultation with counsel or personnel; (3) Writing, evaluating, and editing the writing of others for logical order of presentation of information, consistency of appearance, grammar, and punctuation of financial compliance documents; and (4) Leading financial compliance projects involving extensive communication, collaboration, and coordination with various stakeholders on complicated or sensitive issues.
