You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS, PLANS & POLICY(N3N5) of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.
Duties
You direct program management and administrative support.
You will advise on resource management activities including budget, manpower and management analysis.
You will assist in human resource activities including personnel administration and staffing.
You will coordinate internal control compliance.
You will provide administrative advice, training, and coordination of work performed by senior positions.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Experience organizing small and large meetings, supporting teams, and analyzing project next steps.
2. Experience reviewing and interpreting administrative policies to provide recommendations for process improvement and implementation of enhanced administrative systems and processes.
3. Experience following established protocols for budgeting, correspondence (including classified), logistics, records management, and travel.
4. Experience making the most of interactions with senior and junior contacts using oral and written communications.
5. Experience utilizing electronic systems, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Defense Travel System; fitness report and evaluation software; applicable tasker management systems.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
