This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Assistant Commissioner Disbursing and Debt Management. As a Program Analyst (Top), you will work with the Director, Directorate Director, Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC), and staff to develop and implement the outreach program and services for the Treasury Offset Program (TOP) state programs.
Duties
As a Program Analyst (Top), you will:
Execute and coordinate a successful state outreach and program. Organize, direct, and monitor TOP operational responsibilities that impact internal and external customers.
Plan agency outreach efforts (i.e. agency meetings, webinars, and workshops) to bring more states into TOP.
Continuously take advantage of new ways of providing services to states that may persuade them or enhance their ability to participate in the various TOP state programs.
Educate prospects on the advantages and benefits of TOP's debt collection/management programs.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé.
For this GS-13 position, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
Researching and responding to inquiries related to debt collection or system enhancement. AND
Providing program guidance utilizing organizational policies and procedures. AND
Coordinating with stakeholders to solicit and create new programs and enhance existing programs.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
