Duties
Serves as the DCAA point of contact with all Federal and DoD Agencies/Components involved in DCAA investigation
Ensures the Inspector General is aware of serious and sensitive investigations with potential agency impact
Plans, organizes, directs, and reviews all aspects of the investigative and inspection processes, from case opening to case closing, to include applicable fraud prevention surveys and recommended Agency policy and program revisions
Presents investigative findings, to the Agency Director for determination of the merits of cases and may be required to justify findings and results of investigations to higher level Department of Defense federal oversight echelons
Provides leadership, technical expertise, and supervisory oversight to assigned subordinate staff.
Qualifications
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
You must meet the minimum qualification requirements as stated in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/Standards/group-stds/gs-prof.asp.
Specialized Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.Specialized experience is independently planning, conducting and supervising extremely sensitive, complex, and challenging administrative or criminal investigations involving allegations of misconduct, mismanagement, fraud, and gross waste of funds and abuse of authority.
