This position is in the G8 located within the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center which serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.

Duties

Reviews, evaluates and analyzes financial and organizational information. Summarizes and interprets significant data collected and compares this data to organizational metrics Assists management in interpretation and utilization of reports and information provided. Applies analysis to aid management in making informed business decisions.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Moving expenses are not authorized for this position.
• Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties at the next lower grade level (DE-1/GS 1-4): 1) Experience in data analysis/business analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, COGNOS, etc. 2) Knowledge of data visualization techniques utilizing large or incomplete data sets. 3) Strong Critical thinking and analytical skills to gather and interpret data to form logical conclusions.
