Duties
You will remove, clean, replace, pack and seal defective parts of high pressure piping systems and equipment.
You will position, secure and connect fixtures to piping systems.
You will install pumps, filter units, pressure relief valves and test stand components.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position requires rotating shift work, often requires irregular hours, and/or may require evening and weekend work.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the WG-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Knowledge of standard pipefitting methods and techniques. 2) Skills needed to remove, clean, reinstall, or replace an array of piping joints and components. 3) Skill in the use of tools and equipment relative to the trade. 4) Ability to read blue prints and technical drawings and documentation.
