This position is located in Flagstaff Area National Monuments, in the Administration Division- providing budget and administrative technical support to all divisions (Law Enforcement, Resource Management, Interpretation and Facility Management).

Qualifications
All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-01/10/2025-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement.
Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a non-award SF-50 as part of your application to be used to validate your work schedule and determine the amount of specialized experience that you will be granted. An award SF-50 will not be acceptable documentation for which to consider your amount of qualifying experience. For all other applicants who are not current federal employees, your resume must state either "full-time" (or "40 hours a week") or "part-time" with the number of hours worked per week to ensure proper crediting of specialized experience.
For periods of time that reflect military service, the DD-214 or Statement of Service is sufficient to meet the full and/or part-time hours requirement as the service dates will be reflected.
To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must have at least one (1) year of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) reviewing documents such as vouchers, purchase requests, work orders, and contract invoices to verify budgetary account codes and dollar amounts; (2) comparing job orders, work orders and requests for funds with account balances to assure that funds area available; (3) adjusting account balances to reflect the effect of allotments, transfers, obligations, expenditures, and other actions which change the amount of funds available in accounts.

Successfully completed a full year (18 semester hours) of graduate level education that is directly related to this position and has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. Such fields may include business administration, economics, accounting, governmental budgeting, and public administration.

Have successfully completed a bachelor's degree that provided the knowledge, skills and abilities for this position, and I meet one of the following requirements for superior academic achievement at the undergraduate level: (1) Class standing - Graduated in the upper third of the class based on completed courses in the college, university or major subdivision; (2) Grade Point Average - 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 scale as recorded on official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of curriculum; or (3) Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society.

A combination of the experience and the graduate level education that, when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement.
To qualify for this position at the GS-09 grade level, you must have at least one (1) year of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) tracking expenditures by proper account type; (2) providing information on salary, employment calculations and employment ceilings for incorporation into budget planning, preparation, and execution; (3) analyzing and evaluating changes in progress plans and funding and their effect on the overall budget, (4) preparing financial reports consistent with regulations and guidelines.

Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of graduate level study leading to a master's degree or LLB or J.D degree that is directly related to this position and has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. Such fields may include business administration, economics, accounting, governmental budgeting, and public administration.

A combination of the experience and the graduate level education that, when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement.

To qualify based on education, you must submit a legible copy of transcripts from an
accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Transcripts do not need to be official, but if you are selected for this position and you used your education to qualify, you must provide official transcripts before you begin work.
If you are using
education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet qualification requirements, you must show that your education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
