As a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Architect/Engineer, you assign all technical matters related to assigned projects (such as design, construction, alterations, remodeling, extensions, repairs, preservation, improvement of buildings, leased space, and related equipment/facilities).
Location of position: PBS, Design & Construction Division, Manhattan Branch (2PCM)We are currently filling ONE vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The major duties of the Interdisciplinary Supervisory General Engineer/Architect include the following:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience applying a broad knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of professional engineering or architecture to the design and construction of large, complex project(s) where the individual has coordinated the activities of architects, engineers, tenant agencies and construction contractors. Experience should also include directing all or large phases of a project including planning, pre-design, Architect/Engineer selection, site selection, and all design efforts, reviewing operations to evaluate progress and compliance with design requirements.
