The primary purpose of this position is to act as action officer to accomplish assigned planning/management functions and provide staff assistance to the commander on projects/programs required by the mission and or internal operations.
Duties
Manages the AMARG publications/forms program
Functions as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Manager and the Privacy Act (PA) Officer for AMARG
Serves as the AMARG Functional Areas Records Manager.
Serves as the Squadron SQUIP/SAP Program Manager.
Manages the AMARG "Content Management System" for the Air Force portal in support of the HQ AFMC and Air Force program.
Uses multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats, such as graphics or tables within text, editing and reformatting electronic drafts, and updating or revising existing databases or spreadsheets.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support.. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes reviewing proposed/revised publications, instructions, and forms for adherence to policy or as instructions apply to special programs, ensuring Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and reviews are handled. Assisting in the administration of all aspects of records management and reviewing and approving file plans ensuring they are developed in the records Inventory.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the provisions and requirements of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Privacy Act (PA) and other public law.
2. Knowledge of planning and management functions to provide staff assistance to the commander on projects and programs.
3. Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to be able to accurately prepare and edit reports, forms, publication, and correspondence.
4. Ability to analyze, verify and correlate data; locate, assemble, and compose information for nonroutine reports, inquiries, and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
5. Knowledge of extensive rules, procedures, or operations to perform the procedural and administrative work of the office, such as preparing and editing documents, maintaining files/records, composing, and editing correspondence, reports, inquiries and working special programs for the Center.
6. Knowledge and skill in word processing, automation software functions to produce documents and support the AMARG information technology required of the position.
???????7. Ability to review regulations for compliance with Air Force instructions and develop documents for the commander.8. Ability to plan, organize work, conduct training, and meet deadlines.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
