About the Position: Position is located with the U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 5th Recruiting Brigade.
TEMP Appointment: This position is a TEMPORARY Not to Exceed 30 Sep 2025 position and may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years.
Duties
Serves as the Assistant Contracting Officer Representative (ACOR) ensuring contracted work is within scope and direction of the Performance
work statement.
Responds to information requests, collects data, and guides Battalion level Virtual operations.
Understands and applies segmentation to requested digital content and develops processes and workflows to secure a constant flow of relevant social media content.
Ensures that information is releasable within the guidelines of Department of Defenses and Headquarters, Department of the Army, regulations and policy maintaining operational security.
Measures, analyzes, and reports on performance of the brigades social media activities deriving actionable insights to improve performance, conversion rates, loyalty, increase awareness, propensity and interest to join the Army among core audiences.
Manages the overall planning and execution of the Brigades, recruiting social media program covering Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat, Youtube, Flickr, and other social platforms as they arise.
Requirements
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required 25% of the time.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience at GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Developing digital strategy and campaign plans for managing marketing and social media programs and content marketing techniques for digital recruiting operations; 2) Creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and acquire a clearly defined audience through the use of Web and social networking sites to include, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Flickr, and other social platforms; 3) Analyzing and interpreting customer data from analytical tools and dashboards such as Sprinklr, Analytics, Tag Manager, Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, Optimizely and others for tracking impacts related to campaign success; 4) Teaching a new product, digital tool, application, software, etc, to customers, marketing team, and leadership; AND 5) Presenting data to leadership to keep informed on campaign issues or necessary strategic changes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). (NOTE: At the GS-12, there is no education substitution, you must meet this with specialized experience.)
