You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Engineering Support Branch, Logistics Department, Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC), Industrial Support Department, of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.

Duties
You will provide Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and technical services for TSRA, ICMP, and other TYCOM directed Assessments onboard US Naval Ships or vessels.
You will collect and analyze data in support of metrics and to measure the effectiveness initiatives.
You will identify, initiate, and coordinate procurement orders for all planned and emergent material requirements necessary to support maintenance projects.
You will provide weekly material status through reports, briefings, presentations, meetings and/or conferences to upper level management.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of a broad range of Naval Supply System Command (NAVSUP) logistics and supply policies, procedures, methods, techniques, regulations, programs, and system requirements. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Managing logistics systems in support of maintenance operations, plans, and programs; 2) Gathering, interpreting, organizing, and presenting data and supporting analysis to resolve logistics problems; 3) Utilizing automated data processing (ADP) databases and systems for determining material availability, procurement, tracking, and performing technical research; and 4) Applying the theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Management (ILS) sufficient to plan, implement, and manage a broad spectrum of logistics support.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
Possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
