You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Manpower Management Division, of the Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department (M&RA) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will serve as a staff analyst, evaluator, and advisor to leadership in the effectiveness and efficiency of all selection processes with objective analysis of all qualitative and quantitative data.
You will provide information and interpretations of the organization's military Human Resources policies, procedures, and guidelines.
You will establish statistical methods and techniques to be used in the analysis of new or proposed legislation, regulations, initiatives or policy to determine impact upon selection processes.
You will participate in discussions, meetings, conferences, and conference calls with internal and external Marine Corps subject matter experts, technical personnel, and others to gain information and understanding of statistical trends.
You will serve as the principal for the development and implementation of Marine Corps policy regarding the planning, staffing, preparation, execution, notification, analysis, and archiving of all Marine Corps selection processes.
You will review, analyze, and evaluate all selection processes against statutory regulations to establish a Marine Corps standard across all selection processes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating statistical reports and program data to identify trends AND developing and implementing program performance measures to evaluate various organizational programs.
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing new or modified organizational processes or procedures for administering program services AND providing managers and employees with information and interpretations of Human Resources policies, procedures and guidelines.

GS-11:
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related
