This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Capital Access, office of Surety Guarantees, in Washington, DC, Denver, CO, or Seattle WA. The incumbent is responsible for administrating, developing and implementing SBA's regulations, polices, and procedures and other within the Prior Approval (Plan A) and Preferred Surety Bond (PSB or Plan B) programs within the Surety Bond Guarantee Program.
Duties
Duty Locations: The salary range indicated in this announcement reflects the minimum locality pay up to maximum locality pay for all duty locations listed. The range will be adjusted for selected duty location. General Schedule locality pay tables may be found under OPM Salary & Wages.
As an Underwriting Policy Analyst, GS-1101-13, you will be responsible for:
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- You must be a current SBA employee serving under career/career conditional or temporary employee with 30% DV or Schedule A eligibility.
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience for GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector:
Analyze and evaluate data regarding operations and program management for organizational leaders; and
Preparing technical data reports, and
Working knowledge of collecting information from data collection organizations or systems to develop performance improvement policies and procedures
