You will serve as a Program Manager in the Requirements and Resources Directorate (J8) of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will work as the primary manager for official directorate social events.
You will review long range calendars to suggest best weeks for J8MA to provide fulltime support to the Directorate.
You will coordinate reservations for conference rooms for meeting not suitable for the office directorate leaders due to space constraints or classification.
You will place outgoing phone calls on behalf of the Director, Deputy Director, J8MA, and Director of Staff.
You will coordinate with supply representatives and resource manager to ensure directorate leaders have quick access to expendable supplies.
You will serve as the Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDP) to determine disclosure release of USINDOPACOM J8 originated classified military information (CMI).
You will oversee, analyze, evaluate, develop, and implement policies, directives, and procedural manuals relative to foreign disclosures.
You will prepare and participate in foreign and domestic disclosure training and policy developments.
You will develop procedural policies and provide foreign disclosure guidance.
You will train and advise USINDOPACOM J8 staff on national and theater foreign disclosure policies and procedures.
You will serve as the primary Directorate Unit Reserve Coordinator.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- Shift work and longer than usual hours may be required while working in support of exercise execution or crisis situations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques in order to analyze, organize, and make recommendations to management for improved processes and procedures within an organization. Examples of specialized experience include: 1.) Ensuring required documents for an organization are posted in public spaces and remove obsolete information; 2.) Coordinate with resource managers to ensure expendable supplies are available for members of an organization; 3) Assist with overseeing, analyzing, evaluating, developing, and implementing policies, directives, and procedural manuals relative to organizational and/or foreign disclosures; 4) Maintain up to date on new and revised policies and procedures; 5) Assist with developing procedural policies and provide foreign disclosure guidance; 6) Access administrative database systems to facilitate order processing, travel coordination, pay submission, evaluation, and other administrative functions; 7) Manage social calendars for upper management and ensure all social obligations are met.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
