You will serve as a Supervisory Distribution Facilities Specialist (NS Mayport Installation Fuels Officer) in the Regional Fuel Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.

Duties

You will serve as the Installation Fuels Officer of the Regional Fuel Department and will be responsible for operation and maintenance of two deep-water fuel terminals and flightline operations. You will develop facility projects to sustain, repair, and modernize facilities while creating and maintaining operating budgets. You will ensure compliance with environmental, transportation, and personnel management laws and regulations. You will direct fuel operations and fuel systems maintenance while ensuring safe receipt, handling, storing, and quality assurance. You will analyze, evaluate, and improve petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL) supply chain management. You will supervise subordinates by providing leadership, delegating tasks, and handling conflicts.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing work that involves directing, leading, or supervising analytical or managerial work concerned with receiving, handling, storing, maintaining while in storage, issuing, of fuel, bulk fuel, and/or Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) within a storage and distribution system. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing, leading, or supervising fuel operations and fuel systems maintenance in accordance with and established personnel management laws, regulations, and practices. 2) Assisting in the development of facility projects to sustain, repair, and modernize facilities. 3) Analyzing or evaluating petroleum facility operational and environmental management. 4) Providing oversight and/or supervision to ensure compliance with environmental, transportation laws and regulations relating to bulk fuel facilities. 5) Preparing reports, resolving conflicts, creating annual operating budget requests, and directing operations and maintenance of a bulk fuel facility.
