About the Position: This position is with the 81st Readiness Division, Resource Management Office Branch, Directorate of Public Works located at Fort Jackson, SC
Serves as a Program Analyst on the Facility Management Team for a 81st Readiness Command.
Duties
Plan and execute comprehensive programs for municipal services for facilities within the geographically footprint assigned within Army
Reserve facilities.
Knowledge of overall RD facility operations, supply organizations, missions, functions and operating programs and sources of funding to
understand the relationship of the centralized workload and funding system.
Advises the staff as to the adequacy of municipal services for facilities and recommends actions considered necessary to provide
organizations the facilities needed to maintain unit readiness.
Input utility invoices and ensures payment and recording information into utility tracker.
Works with budget personnel to ensure adequate funds are programmed into the budget to provide for utilities, custodial services,
grounds keeping, maintenance and repair, and establishes priorities for work requests.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires Level 2 Financial Management Certification within 2 years of appointment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which is defined as serve programs for municipal services for facilities within the geographically assigned Army Reserve Facilities. Determines operating and maintenance requirements, forecasts resource requirements, accomplishes programs, and evaluates program effectiveness through inspections, budget controls and management improvement studies.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Financial Management; Business Management or Accounting.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
