About the Position: Fort Cavazos rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove.
Duties
Manage the Supply Support Activity (SSA) for the DPW. Plans and directs operations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures concerning inventory management.
Check and monitor operations to assure compliance with governing regulations, internal control systems, and appropriate supply management concepts.
Review all request documents for procurement of new items to ensure requirements are mission essential, fully justified and adheres to regulatory requirements.
Responsible for processing vendor receiving reports and invoices for payments in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
Ensure contracts are paid within 30 days when all agreements have been completed. This action requires communication with upper level management, customers, supply technician, and Contractors.
Ensure the Government Purchase Card documentation are uploaded into each Government Purchase Card Holder’s accounts in USBANK, daily, weekly, and monthly.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes formulating budget estimates, forecasting patterns of expense targets, processing vendor receiving reports and invoices for payments in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), utilizing financial management systems such as Access Online (AXOL), or General Funds Enterprise System (GFEBS), to extract various reports, serving as Billing/Approving Official for purchase cardholders.
