Duty Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Duties
The duties listed below are at the full performance level.
-Performs a variety of management functions including electronic time and attendance, personnel actions, travel, training, purchasing, and project management.
-Composes correspondence on routine and occasionally non-routine administrative matters and light technical subjects. Formats and edits technical reports to agency specifications.
-Refers technical inquiries to the appropriate individual. Assists individuals in the office with finding correct forms or contacts to complete routine and non-routine office tasks.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the Specialized experience requirement - this information must be clearly supported in the resume.
GS-05.To qualify at the GS-05 level, applicants must possess one of the following:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 grade level. Specialized experience includes performing office administration practices to include scheduling meetings and/or appointments, receiving and controlling incoming and outgoing correspondence and reports.
B. Education: Four years of education above high school.
C. Combination of education and specialized experience. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.)
GS-06.
To qualify at the GS-06 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 in Federal service. Specialized experience includes scheduling supervisor's activities, providing administrative support; screening phone calls and visitors; managing supervisor's calendar and making travel arrangements; composing and preparing correspondence to include preparing, proofreading and/or editing correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; utilizing automated Travel System, coordinating travel and completing and reviewing travel orders.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-6 level.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR
Typing Requirement: Applicants must be able to type 40 words per minute.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including any selective placement factors if applicable, by 02/03/2025.
Education
This vacancy announcement allows substituting education for experience at the GS-05 grade level. Applicants must submit a copy of college transcript(s) (unofficial copy is acceptable) to support claimed education if substituting education for experience. Transcripts must include the name of the college or university and date the degree was conferred. A typed list of courses, grades, semester/quarter hours, GPA, etc. will not be accepted. Non-submission may result in being rated not-qualified for the position.
You will be required to provide official college transcripts to verify educational qualifications, if selected. An official transcript must be sent directly from the University's Registrar's office and must be provided from the institution awarding the degree. Academic transcripts certified by notary publics are NOT official. Official transcripts must be submitted prior to reporting to work as a condition of employment. Failure to submit official transcripts may be grounds for dismissal or rescission of the job offer.
