This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Visitor Services Planning, Operations, and Evaluation Division.
Duties
The Logistics and Resources Specialist will perform contracting, uniform, project and logistics management, procurement, inventory, and customer service functions to support CVC visitor and retail operations. While making use of cutting-edge technology and cooperation amongst CVC divisions to guarantee significant and unforgettable guest experiences.

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Candidates for the GS-13 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower (GS-12) grade level.
To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the all of the following:
Creating, recording, and maintaining standard operating procedures for the allocation of inventories and the use of uniforms and equipment.
Participating in the review of bids and contract negotiations.
Serving as the point of contact for personnel as well as external stakeholders about any uniform common queries, concerns, or problems.
Initiating and carrying out safety education activities to include training,
