This position is located in Big Horn Canyon National Recreation Area North and South District. The primary purpose of this position is to operate gasoline and diesel-powered engineering and construction heavy equipment and small mechanically propelled watercraft, generally under 55 meters (180 feet) in length.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to do the work of Engineering Equipment Operator without more than normal supervision. (SCREEN OUT)
Possess, or obtain within one year, a clear and valid, Class B Commercial Driver's License. (SCREEN OUT).
Ability to Drive Safely (Motor Vehicles)
Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (related to mobile equipment operation)
Ability to Operate Safely (Non-Motor Vehicle)
Operation of Motor Vehicles
Reliability and Dependability as an Engineering Equipment Operator
Work Practices (including keeping things neat, clean, and in order)
