About the Position: The primary purpose for this position is to provide Industrial Engineering Technician assistance in the operation of the Directorate of Public Works and to conduct engineering studies related to the improvement of work processes.

Duties

Applies a broad range of principles, theories, and techniques of industrial engineering to prepare or analyze work distribution data, process charts, facility layouts, and engineering work relationships. Participates in such typical Army programs as Reimbursables, Value Analysis, Cost Reduction, Lean Six Sigma and related programs, utilizing industrial engineering analysis techniques. Prepares various interagency agreements such as Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) and Interservice Support Agreements (ISSA). Serves as DPW Training Coordinator conducting orientation training for all new employees and ensuring all required annual training is completed IAW established timelines. Collects, analyzes, and interprets statistical data reflecting operations, personnel utilization and productivity, space utilization, and performance cost evaluation.

Requirements
