The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is currently seeking candidate for an Analytical Liaison Officer (General Engineer/Operations Research Analysis), DR-0801/1515-01/02 for the Joint Warfare Analysis Center, Dahlgren, VA

Duties

Applies knowledge of petroleum, oil and gas networks and/or systems and performs modeling of those systems to predict system behavior.

• Incumbent must have or be capable of obtaining and retaining a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing program. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use
• May be subject to 3-year probationary period pursuant to JWAC FRN, 85 Fed. Reg. 29419 (May 15, 2020).
• Position is subject to polygraph testing
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

Examples of specialized experience include experience applying systems thinking concepts and techniques; structured analysis principles; research and development; AND experience applying quantitative and qualitative analysis and investigative techniques in order to synthesize data, evaluate significant factors, and make recommendations.
