Duties
Determine overstocking, overgrazing, trespass and failure to comply with stipulations.
Perform range unit inspections to determine land use and compliance to permits and assignments.
Investigate trespass allegations and complete field inspection reports including non-compliance, livestock brands, numbers, location dates and recommends corrective action.
Apply federal and tribal grazing regulations as they pertain to lease compliance issues.

- Incumbent is required to operate a government motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license, and have a safe driving record within the 4 year period immediately preceding submittal of GSA Form 3607.
Qualifications
The vacancy for this position is OPEN UNTIL FILLED and may be extended or closed prior to the current closing date. Applications will be reviewed every 15 days; the first cut-off date for applications is 15 calendar days from the opening date and every 15 calendar days thereafter. Applicants with 10-point Veterans' Preference who submit a complete application after each cut-off date, but before the Certificate of Eligibles is issued, will be considered and referred, if qualified.
GS-4: 1 year of General Experience:
General Experience: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a Lease Compliance Technician.
OR-
Education: 2 years above high school.
NOTE: Position is career-seasonal in nature and is subject to periods on non-pay. You will be guaranteed at least 20 pay periods of work with 6 weeks of non-pay time. Non-pay time for this position is typically between Nov-Jan and can change based on the needs of the organization. Selectee will need to sign a career seasonal agreement acknowledging the nature of this career-seasonal position.

One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education which shows the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
