This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. (NARA), George W. Bush Presidential Library.The incumbent will serve as a Metadata Technician and is responsible for performing duties associated with digitization, creation of technical and structural metadata, administration and data entry of databases and spreadsheets, and quality control.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-9 level is defined as one year of experience at the GS-8 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience with metadata and formatting in relation to archival and/or artifact collections. AND Preparing digital imaging formats for submission into a variety of systems. AND Making image enhancements and/or modifications to digital images.
