About the Position: Serves as a project manager responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scoping, design, construction, and direction of assigned Corps of Engineers Military/Support for Others (SFO) projects for the DoD and non-DoD agencies.
Duties
Implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the program.
Manages project milestones and budgets from initial studies through construction and initial operations.
Reconciles sponsor/customer concerns, and assures that all participating parties are informed of project progress, issues and impacts.
Establishes responsibilities and sets expectations; controls and manages assigned projects.
Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc., for Military/SFO projects.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent is required to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Incumbent may be required to perform temporary duty travel (TDY) approximately 20-40% of the time in connection with stated duties.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
???????Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade in the Federal service which includes Planning and evaluating permitting for environmental remediation or development projects (such as recreation or wetlands development).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
