About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1E8AA USA INTELLIGENCE CTR OF EXCELLENCE. Perform a wide variety of special and recurring training related actions, ensuring that administrative requirements are met.

Duties

Serves as primary point of contact for scheduling issues and renders authoritative decisions or resolves problems, issues, and concerns. Checks daily academic training schedules to ensure classes have been scheduled into a facility meeting security, equipment, and physical requirements necessary to support training, and that no classroom conflicts exist. Attends meetings and conferences to provide input for up to 75 courses with regard to scheduling and constraints which affect training. Evaluates impacts on courses with regard to facilities and schedule conflicts. Schedules and monitors the usage of approximately 26 live fire ranges and approximately 22 training areas and tests facilities used by USAICoE courses. Assures requesting USAICoE units adhere to strict safety procedures with the most efficient use of ranges and training areas.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance based on a T3 ENTNAC/NAC/NACI/Background Investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Training, Education, Guidance Counseling, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
