You will serve as a EDUCATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Academic Administration of NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL (NPS).
Duties
You will coordinate and manage sponsored education support agreements and as a result of those efforts manage the enrollment and tracking of students and their funding at the NPS.
You will draft, review and/or edit agreements and any other required associated documents to ensure conformance with federal, DoD/DoN and local policy and format prior to submission to required reviewers.
You will liaise between NPS Sponsored Education Officer, reimbursable education program managers.
You will monitor NPS degree, certificate program and per course applicants in the NPS applicant/student management system.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using office automation software to prepare a wide variety of documents; 2) Overseeing all education support agreements with partners in accordance with DOD guidelines; 3) Maintaining a tracking system for support agreements to record current processes and agreement status; and 4) Monitor all degrees and certificate program applicants for agreement status.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
