About the Position: This position is within the Commander's Staff Public Affairs Office at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA. This position may be filled at the GS-09 or GS-11 grade level.

Duties

Leverage expert knowledge of industry-standard software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Quark Xpress, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc., to create graphics, designs and digital media products that support organizational goals. Develop innovative design solutions, including logos, brochures, and presentations, to meet organizational needs and brand standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective communication strategies, including social media, print, video, and public relations. Engage with clients and team members to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions within tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must be willing to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) up to 20% of the time.
• Must complete a one-year probation period.
• Must possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required by management to meet work requirements.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain an OPSEC 2 (Operations Security 2) Certification within one year from date of hire to this position.
• Must be willing to successfully complete the Public Affairs Defense Information School's course within two years from date of hire to this position.
