The Connected Health Coordinator serves as facility champion for Connected Health, leading facility teams to evaluate and improve the use and usage of Connected Health modalities through program and management analysis, outreach and communication campaigns, User Experience surveys, staff and Veteran training, process improvement, and administrative oversight.

Duties

This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-11. At the GS-09 grade level, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence. You will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS-11. Promotion is at the discretion of the supervisor and is contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of higher-level work, and availability of funds. Major duties include: The incumbent oversees all aspects of the facility Connected Health program, including program evaluations and VISN reports. Develops, implements, maintains, and documents internal and control policies and procedures. With guidance from the VISN Connected Health Coordinator, monitors and adjusts strategic plans and objectives to enhance, maintain, and improve Connected Health access and usage in the facility based. Contributes to studies and projects led by the facility Group Practice Manager. Analyzes Connected Health user, usage, and performance data to determine the sources of various issues and presents summaries. Suggests solutions that include information campaigns, training, outreach events, and various information products bespoke to different users. Help troubleshoot, test, and report on issues with Connected Health programs. Conducts staff and Veteran training needs assessments for connected health technology. Plans and organizes Connected Health Outreach efforts and events. Delivers presentations about Connected Health Program. Designs, requests, and coordinates multimedia campaign materials. Develops metrics and related data requirements to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and outreach efforts. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm Telework: Ad-hoc telework may be available at the Supervisors discretion. Virtual: This is not a virtual position. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 12/27/2024. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-9 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-7. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. You may qualify for the GS-09 based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience include: provide social media management; experience with a variety of personal technology devices and how they interface; developing multimedia materials such as printed articles, brochures or videos, to distribute information to the public; deliver training and presentations. OR, Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D., if related. OR, Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond the first year of graduate level education. You may qualify for the GS-11 based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-09 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience include: provide social media management; experience with a variety of personal technology devices and how they interface; developing multimedia materials such as printed articles, brochures or videos, to distribute information to the public; deliver training and presentations; develop and administer user experience surveys, collect data results, implement suggestions or provide solutions; leading or delegating work to subordinates. OR, Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR, Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond graduate level education (in excess of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education) and specialized experience to meet total experience requirements. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment. Physical Requirements: Work ls primarily sedentary, but may require walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and periods of standing during presentations, briefings, speeches, health fair activities, etc. May also lift and carry items weighing up to 15 lbs. Work Environment: Work is mostly performed in an office setting with adequate lighted and climate-controlled office. However, outreach and training events may require occasional travel and work to be performed in a variety of indoor spaces.
