You will serve as a PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Office of Student Affairs, School of Medicine of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.
Duties
You will be responsible for the administrative and managerial requirements of the pre-clerkship medical student support programs.
You will be responsible for management of the transition, orientation and support programs for prospective students and medical students (i.e. Host, Sponsor, Orientation, Wellbeing and Awards Program).
You will provide administrative oversight and guidance to office staff in support of programs.
You will analyze and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for policy and program changes.
You will manage the non-professional requirements of the School of Medicine's Academic Counseling Program (ACP) for medical students in the basic science curriculum.
You will provide general administrative support of the Office for Student Affairs.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical and evaluative techniques by identifying and analyzing administrative operations process and inefficiencies and recommend option for improvement for an organization's administrative and management operation.
