In this position, the Program Manager provides leadership and direction for enterprise-wide strategic planning integration efforts, including Strategic Partnership Projects activities, and other cross-cutting initiatives that support the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) and departmental mission priorities.
Duties
As a Program Manager you will:
Provide leadership and direction for enterprise-wide strategic planning and integration efforts, including the advancing the Enterprise Blueprint and other infrastructure planning initiatives.
Serve as the support service contract (SSC) task monitor for NA-1.1.
Coordinate with contract and budget specialists to ensure the full range of fiscal activities related to NA-1.1 contracting needs run smoothly and efficiently.
Work with the NA-1.1 team, NA-1 Front Office, and other NNSA program, functional and field offices and sites to identify strategic planning challenges, potential synergies, develop solutions, track and measure progress and communicate results
Evaluate cross-cutting planning initiatives across the NSE related to high-level defense and nuclear security issues and recommends strategies and process improvements, when applicable
Qualifications
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e., EN-03 or GS-13. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience providing leadership and direction for enterprise-wide strategic planning and integration efforts; coordinating with contacting and budget specialists; and applying knowledge of program management, analysis, and resource planning to projects and initiatives.
Examples of Qualified Experience that May Be Qualifying:
Developing and implementing strategic planning activities for an organizational entity, particularly relating to the organization's infrastructure.
Creating data-driven visualization and messaging, particularly related to Strategic Partnership Projects and technology transfers.
Managing support service contracts.
Reporting on program performance to senior level leadership.
