This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), Business Operations Group (BOG).
As a LEAD MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-14, you will coordinate and lead projects and programs in various areas, such as awards, training, organizational assessment and analysis, and other related administrative management areas.
Duties
Conducts program analysis studies to analyze the organizational structure, mission, and functions of existing organizational entities.
Builds training curriculums to meet the needs of the organization which includes course outlines, lectures, visual aids, examination, training requests and other instructional material for various technical trainings.
Ensures the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services.
Represents the team in dealings with the supervisor to obtain resources and secure needed information or decisions from the supervisor on major work problems and issues that arise.

In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1) Interpreting new federal policies, regulations, and guidelines to ensure the operational structure supports training and workforce development objectives, AND 2) Designing and managing programs, such as workforce initiatives, training programs, skills gap analyses, and succession planning, to maintain a highly skilled and effective workforce, AND 3) Leading a team by assigning tasks, managing workloads, and adjusting priorities to ensure the timely and successful completion of workforce development and training objectives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
