You will serve as a IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the United States Marine Corps Cyber Command of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND.
Duties
You will plan and conducts studies involving a wide variety of cyber requirements management problems
You will provide mission and function information to various requestors outside the command.
You will visit other government agencies and installations to review, analyze, and/or participate in discussions involving cyber requirements, prioritization, validation, etc.
Requirements

- A Counterintelligence Polygraph is required.
- Employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and subsequent periodic drug screening thereafter.
- The incumbent may be required to perform minimal travel (10% or less) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (641), proficiency level (Advanced) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies
Qualifications
You are required to have information technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include Utilizing analytical tools such as requirements distribution,
identification and documentation and applying mathematics and statistics in the development and evaluation of data.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include interviewing operating and supervisory personnel and conduct research.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, and responds appropriately. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include Making oral and written reports and presentations and preparing graphs and charts with an emphasis on conciseness, lucidity, and effectiveness
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT related experience demonstrating this competency include: resolving requirement management problems or improving the efficiency or economy of operations
In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, you are required to have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Planning and conducting studies involving a wide variety of cyber requirements management problems which require the development of recommendations for new or substantially modified requirements determination and identification processes and structures for cyber systems.

Education
At a minimum, all CES employees in the Professional Work Category require a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
