This position is located in the National Payment Center of Excellence, Operations Support Division, Production Support Section .As a Supervisory Program Analyst (Help Desk), you will supervise an unit staffed with professionals that provide technical and production support to various payment systems and over 5,000 users.
Duties
As a Supervisory Program Analyst (Help Desk), you will:
Supervise and direct the daily production support and Help Desk activities of the Secure Payment System (SPS), Payment Automation Manager (PAM), and Payment Information Repository (PIR) systems.
Direct research efforts into various complex issues that impact Product Support Section policies, programs and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the section.
Coordinate operational reviews, prepare evaluations and provide guidelines pertaining to the effectiveness of program operations.
Plan, develop, and implement the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, National Payment Center of Excellence, contact representative policies and procedures.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience serving as a Lead or Supervisor to resolve issues/problems in order to meet deadlines; AND
Experience providing production support to end users of web-based distributed financial systems; AND
Experience adapting analytical techniques such as researching, documenting or observing operations to develop detailed operational procedures such as help desk procedures.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
