You will serve as an Operations Research Analyst in the Cost & Schedule Analysis Division of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Duties
You will develop and maintains government program schedules in support of the acquisition process.
You will provide actionable recommendations to the IPT management and team based on the analysis conducted.
You will participate in source selection evaluations as assigned.
You will work to improve cost/schedule analysis methods, tools, databases, and processes.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or (DP-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interacting with various representatives (e.g., IPT members and contractor representatives) to assure relevant information is assimilated and used to properly address cost and/or schedule issues; 2) Presenting a cost estimating plan which defines cost analysis models and quantitative techniques to be used, specific types of data required, and probable data sources; 3) Evaluating proposals and developing independent government cost estimates and schedule validity analysis; 4) Estimating the costs and/or developing and analyzing schedules of assigned training systems and related products through all phases of the acquisition life cycle.

Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
