You will serve as a CLOTHING DESIGNER of NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND.
Duties
You will utilize an advanced knowledge in manufacturing techniques to resolve design issues.
You will lead and support the development, reviewing, and modification of government specifications.
You will exercise a technical understanding of fabric construction, print/pattern execution, artwork design, trim details, fittings, garment construction and manufacturing methods and processes.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing and executing comprehensive project plans with cost, schedule, and milestones; 2) Conducting fit or wear evaluation to validate patterns, design, and functionality; 3) Writing detailed technical reports and briefings on design programs that include sound technical and programmatic recommendations; 4) Preparing documentation (specifications, purchase documents, etc.) for procurement; 5) Establishing and maintaining liaison and working relationships with other clothing and textile stakeholders in academia, industry, and government organizations.
