About the Position: Serve as Supervisory Plans Officer for the HQS, First Army, G-5 Plans Branch. Term appointments may be extended beyond six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. Duties

Serve as the Deputy Chief, Army Force Generation Plans Branch, G-3 Plans Division. Analyze assigned missions, external factors of influence, and workload levels to determine their impacts on current and future mission planning. Organize, coordinate, and direct staff personnel and activities in preparing operational plans that support First Army's mission and operations. Provide direct supervision to employees to ensure plans, programs, and policies are consistent with organizational goals.

• Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 25% or more.

Participate in coordination of assigned projects in preparing operational plans to accomplish the mission; and 5. Assist in synchronizing the mobilization and training of units deploying in support of Contingency Operations.
