This position will provide leadership and direction for NNSA's enterprise-wide strategic planning and integration efforts, development and management of high-priority initiatives supporting the NNSA Administrator; and the coordination of stakeholders around long-term strategic risks, challenges, and opportunities impacting the enterprise
Duties
As a Supervisory Program Specialist you will:
Oversee NNSA's enterprise-wide strategic planning processes, to include the implementation and updating of the Enterprise Blueprint; development of the annual Integrated Strategic Priorities (ISP) list; site strategic planning process, and Strategic Partnership Project (SPP) program.
Provide leadership and direction for enterprise-wide strategic planning and integration efforts, including the development and prioritization of high-priority NA-1.1 initiatives and coordination of stakeholders around long-term strategic risks, challenges, and opportunities impacting the enterprise.
Lead communication and outreach efforts to establish and advance enterprise planning expectations and needs.
Work with the NA-1.1 team, NA-1 Front Office, and other NNSA program, functional and field offices and sites to identify strategic planning challenges, potential synergies, develop solutions, track and measure progress and communicate results.
Supervise, explain performance objectives to and serve as rating official for Planning team staff; approve leave and adjusts staff assignments.
Advise the NA-1.1 Director and Deputy Director on policy, organizational, and other related to the advancement of NA-1.1 mission and vision.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e., EN-03 or GS- 13. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience in providing leadership and direction to a strategic planning process, developing long-term strategic priorities; formulating key partnerships with NNSA internal and external stakeholders; and applying knowledge of program management, analysis, and resource planning to projects and initiatives.

Lead enterprise-wide planning, communication, and collaboration activities.
Analyze, evaluate, and communicate progress and challenges to achieving program objectives.
Develop innovative approaches to study and recommend policies for improving program or organizational effectiveness.
Collaborate with agency or organizational programs, functional, and field offices and M&O partners to develop and integrate long-term, forward looking strategic planning initiatives and priorities for the Nuclear Security Enterprise.
